Jamui Molestation Case: Amid the probe in Bihar's Jamui sexual assault case, the reports have revealed how the victim's male friend reacted during the incident. While the minor girl was abused and sexually assaulted, her male friend, with whom she had visited the site, was also brutally beaten. He was forced to either marry the girl or flee the scene, but he chose to stay there and fight for her friend, an act now being appreciated in the city.
'Refused To Leave Victim Alone'
As per the reports, the goons had threatened the student with death and asked him to leave the site. However, without caring about the consequences, he remained there and tried to free the victim. "You may kill me, but I will not go anywhere leaving my friend alone," he replied upon being threatened, reported Jagran.
While providing details, the family members of the student stated that both of them had recently bought a mobile phone. They reportedly went to the site for photoshoots and making short videos in the evening hours; however, the miscreants began assaulting them.
Was Forced To Marry Girl
The goons began beating the student mercilessly after he refused to marry the girl. The miscreants later asked him to abandon his friend and leave the site, but he firmly denied, leading to further beatings. Despite being outnumbered, he fought against them and tried to free the minor girl.
The local goons later called Nandan Yadav, a local criminal, after the student denied marrying the girl. While both the minors tried to escape the scene, Yadav, along with his friend, Hareram Yadav, soon arrived there and began assaulting them. At the same time, one of the accused recorded the entire incident and uploaded it on the social media platforms.
The Bihar police, following a massive outrage across the nation, arrested that accused and have conducted multiple rounds of interrogation.
