Railway News: In a major decision, the Southeastern Railway on Wednesday announced that several trains will be provided additional coaches to accommodate the additional crowd. The authority stated that these trains will operate with additional coaches between June 5 and June 11 to provide convenience to the passengers on multiple routes. The South Eastern Railway stated that the decision was taken after receiving several requests from the concerned authorities and passengers. The authority also advised the passengers to follow the guidelines and plan their journey accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.
While providing details, the railway stated that one train passing through Chakradharpur Railway Division, one train passing through Kharagpur Division, and four trains running through Ranchi Railway Division will get additional coaches on different dates from June 5 to June 11. The authority stated that the decision was taken so that railway passengers can get rid of problems like overcrowding and waiting lists.
It further stated that the people going to several states, including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha, mostly travel by train, and the additional coaches are provided to provide them the convenience. The advisory stated that one additional non-AC chair car coach will be attached to train number 18183 (Tatanagar-Buxar Express) on June 5, 6, and 7. It further stated train number 18603, the Ranchi-Godda Express, will have an additional three-tier sleeper coach on June 5 and 7.

It added that train number 18619, the Ranchi-Godda Intercity Express, will have an additional sleeper coach on June 5. The railway further stated that train number 18611, the Ranchi-Banaras Express, will have an additional sleeper coach on June 5, 6, and 7. Apart from this, train number 18640, the Ranchi-Ara Express, will get an additional three-tier sleeper coach on June 5 and 7.
