The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to announce the names of cabinet ministers in Rajasthan soon, after holding a meeting at the residence of party’s national president JP Nadda in Delhi on Monday. The meeting was attended by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, his deputies Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa, Rajasthan BJP president CP Joshi and several other senior leaders of the party.

The new cabinet is expected to have 17 young MLAs, who will handle various ministries in the first phase of cabinet formation. The Rajasthan government will also expand the state cabinet in possible other phases, according to sources cited by Dainik Jagran.

According to sources,  BJP reached a consensus on the formation of the cabinet at the meeting held in Delhi on Monday and the party will announce the list in the coming days.

Rajasthan State in-charge Arun Singh, co-incharge Vijaya Rahatkar, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Rajendra Rathod, Satish Poonia and other senior leaders of the party were also present in the meeting, reported IANS. 

Earlier on Sunday, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, Deputy CM Diya Kumari and Premchand Bairwa also met President Draupadi Murmu and Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in the national capital.
