Tej Pratap Yadav's wife, Aishwarya Rai, has finally reacted to the ongoing controversy surrounding the RJD leader's recent relationship confession. Her response came days after Tej Pratap, the elder son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, posted a now-deleted confession on Facebook, revealing he had been in a long-term relationship for 12 years.
Addressing the matter, Aishwarya questioned why her life was destroyed if the Yadav family was already aware of his past. "Why was my life ruined? Why was I beaten? Now they have suddenly had a social awakening," she said, expressing her anguish over the ongoinh situation.

Tej Pratap Yadav recently revealed that he has been in a relationship for 12 years, a statement that raised many eyebrows since he married the granddaughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Daroga Rai, and is currently embroiled in divorce proceedings.
Reacting to Lalu Prasad Yadav’s recent move to expel his son from the party, Aishwarya lashed out at the family's decision. She called Lalu's decision to expel his son from the party and family a "drama", which has been orchestrated to salvage the possible damage ahead of the impending Bihar elections.
In a post on X ( formerly Twitter) Lalu Prasad on Sunday expelled his eldest son from the party for six years, citing ignorance of "moral values" in his personal life. Lalu said Tej Pratap’s behaviour does not align with the family’s values and traditions.

She also revealed how she found out about her divorce proceedings through media reports. "All the information I got was through the media... I did not know what was going on... Ask them, what was the need to ruin my life? Where was their social justice when I was beaten?... Ask them, what about me?... They put the blame on me for everything. Now that it is out, he has had an affair for 12 years and blaming the woman is the easiest way out. When will I get justice? I will continue my fight."
