West Bengal is going to get three new Vande Bharat trains before Durga Puja this year. These Vande Bharat Express trains will run between Howrah to Bhagalpur, Howrah to Gaya and Howrah to Rourkela. The Railway Board has issued an order for the operation of these trains, jagran.com reported. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off these trains through video conferencing on September 15. The railways has also completed preparations in this regard.
Of the three new Vande Bharat trains that are going to be launched from Bengal, two trains belong to the Eastern Railway Zone. While the Howrah- Rourkela Vande Bharat train belongs to the South Eastern Railway Zone. The headquarters of both the zonal railways are in Kolkata. The commercial run of the three trains has not been announced yet.

However, it is believed that these trains will start running for passengers soon after the inauguration on September 15. With the operation of these new trains, travel between these cities will become even easier. The travel time will also be reduced considerably. Howrah-Bhagalpur Vande Bharat Express will complete the journey in six hours and Howrah-Gaya Vande Bharat in six hours and 20 minutes.

Vande Bharat Route
According to information received from the railway, the Howrah-Gaya Vande Bharat Express will depart from Gaya at 11 am and will reach Howrah station at 7 pm via Koderma, Parasnath, Dhanbad, Khunti, Asansol, Durgapur. At the same time, the Bhagalpur-Howrah Vande Bharat Express will depart from Bhagalpur station at 11 am and will reach Howrah station at 8 pm via Barahat, Mandal Hill, Hansdiha, Nonihat, Dumka, Rampurahat, Bolpur.
