Kajrari Teej 2023: Every year, in India, people celebrate the festival of Teej with joy and happiness. All the married ladies celebrate the festival of Teej. During the Teej, worshippers fast from sunrise until sunset for the purpose of worshiping Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and to ask for their blessings for the health and prosperity of their spouses and families.
It is now time for Kajari Teej after Hariyali Teej. Kajari Teej is celebrated fifteen days after Hariyali Teej, three days following Raksha Bandhan, and five days following Krishna Janmashtami. On September 2, people will celebrate the Kajari Teej, and according to Hindu mythology, there once existed in central India a vast, dense forest known as Kajali that was controlled by King Dadurai. His subjects used to chant songs called Kajali in honor of the wonderful location.

The death of King Dadurai served as a turning point when the king's wife, Queen Nagamati, performed Sati. The forested area was transformed into a symbol of their enduring love when the king died and the queen fell in love with him. Kajari Teej has been celebrated ever since as a celebration to strengthen the bond between a husband and wife. Basically, on Kajari Teej, all married ladies observe a 24-hour fast in order to receive the blessings of both the goddess and the deity. Therefore, we've listed some of the dos and don'ts that you need to be aware of while fasting.
During this festival, the Nirjala fast is observed. All the people worship Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, and Goddess Neemdi. Married ladies rise early, take a bath, and begin fasting in order to obtain the graces of the gods.

Nirjla fasting is the practice of not eating any food or drinking any water during the time of the fast. It might occasionally be challenging for newlywed ladies to maintain the nirjala fast for the entire day.
It is recommended to stay inside and out of the sun. The body can be kept hydrated by drinking fruit juice or taking sips of water every so often.
On Kajari Teej, women shouldn't break their fast prior to seeing the moon.
