Google Pixel 9a was launched Globally earlier this month but Google didn’t announce its sale date right away. But it was expected to be available for sale soon after its launch as they mentioned that it will be available in April. Recently, it was also reported that a few Pixel 9a units suffered component quality issues, leading to a delayed sale. 

Google Pixel 9a Sale Dates Announced

If we talk about US, Canada and UK, the Pixel 9a sale will go live on 10 April 2025. And for the rest of the Europe, it will be available from 14 April 2025. Finally the markets of India, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Malaysia will be able to purchase the Google Pixel 9a from 16 April 2025. However, Google is yet to confirm the date for Japanese market.

The Pixel 9a comes with a sleek and compact design with a flat frame, from the traditional camera bar found on previous models. It is equipped with a 6.3-inch pOLED display, offering a crisp FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

Cameras:

The Pixel 9a features a dual rear camera setup that has 48MP OIS-enabled main sensor coupled with 13MP ultra-wide-angle unit. For selfie shooter, it comes with a 13MP wide sensor.

Battery and Charging:

It is equipped with 5,100mAh battery  and it comes with a support of 23W wired fast charging and 7.5W wireless charging.

Processor and Memory:

For performance, Google Pixel 9a is equipped with Tensor G4 straight from the Pixel 9. On the storage front it comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Software:

It runs on Android 15, out of the box and Google has promised 7 years of software update.

Additional Specifications:

The Pixel 9a comes with IP68 certification, car crash detection, WiFi-6E, eSIM, and NFC.

In the Indian market, the Pixel 9a is available at the price of Rs 49,999 for the sole 256GB storage variant. You can buy this device from Flipkart in three colour options: Iris, Obsidian, and Procelain.
