Google has been announcing AI enhancements across its product line for users. The company recently announced the integration of artificial intelligence on a testing basis across its most popular offering - Search. To improve the experience for users even further, the tech giant has now announced the ability to create images with the offering.
Besides image generation, the company added Search can help users write first draft text for varied purposes. Here are all the details about both these features.

Generative AI Images With Search
The company added that the capability to generate images will be available in the "generative AI-powered Search experience (SGE)". In a single prompt, SGE will offer four options which users can choose from. It can understand personalised responses such as: "Draw a picture of a capybara wearing a chef's hat and cooking breakfast."
Users can further enter inputs to enhance and personalise the results even further. Google added that for users enrolled in SGE, the option to create images may show up in Google Images. It might appear in cases such as while entering prompts for inspiration, such as "minimalist halloween table settings," as visible from the demo video.

All images generated using this technology will have a meta description and a watermark to cement its identity as an AI image. According to The Keyword blog, the functionality is only available in the United States in English for 18+ users who opted for SGE.

Written Drafts In SGE
Besides AI images, written drafts can help users frame communication texts depending on their needs (change tone, shorten them). The draft can be exported to apps like Docs and Gmail for added personalisation. This functionality will also be available for users in the US in English.
Upcoming Feature
The search leader also added that a tool (About this image) to assess the credibility and context of the images will arrive for users soon. It will scan through similar versions of the image and web and news links where the photo was mentioned.
