Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign: The Government of India has announced its 'Har Ghar Tiranga' initiative to mark the celebration under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign. Right before the 77th Independence Day, PM Narendra Modi urged citizens to be a part of the movement that will be live from today till August 15. He added that users can share photos with the national flag from the web portal of the initiative.

The campaign under the Ministry of Culture has a Digital Tiranga Artwork that features uploaded photos of people with the flag. According to the official data, over 81 lakh selfies have been uploaded on the platform at the time of filing. If you wish to participate in the campaign, here's how you can upload your selfie with the Tri-colour flag on the Har Ghar Tiranga portal.

Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan: How To Upload Selfie?

Step 1: Open this link of the official website in a new tab

Step 2: Click/Tap on "Upload Selfie with Flag"

Step 3: Enter your name in the field and upload the image from the "Browse Files" button

Step 4: Click/Tap the checkmark next to the consent approval form

Step 5: Hit "Submit" at the bottom

To view the 'Digital Tiranga' gallery, tap or click the button below the "upload selfie with flag" option. Secondly, users can search for photos from the "Selfies" link at the top right. The platform adds: "If your selfie is not showing, you will be able to see your selfie from 16 August 2023, 8:00 AM onwards."

Taking to X, the Indian PM wrote: "The Tiranga symbolises the spirit of freedom and national unity. Every Indian has an emotional connection with the Tricolour and it inspires us to work harder to further national progress.
