Microsoft will be releasing a massive update for the latest Windows 11 which will offer users more choice over the apps that come preinstalled on their systems in response to input from users. With Build 23585 currently being tested for the development channel, the upcoming update will address a common request from the Windows community. With this update, users will be able to remove a greater range of inbox apps.
However, the OS can have pre-installed applications similar to Cortana, Photos, People, Camera, and the MSTSC client removed by the end user as well. This move is considered as one of the biggest steps to enhancing the ease of use and satisfying those that want to deal directly with their computer. Just like their approach of having applications not every customer needs should be deleted, these programmes can easily be uninstalled.

Besides, there are also speculations about its decision to let users access a personal assistance tool powered by generative AI—Copilot. This update is also said to affect over a billion users of Windows 10 beside Windows 11.subsection: This means that Windows 10 Copilot update will be similar to the one already included in Windows 11, only with an extra icon found in the taskbar.
Insiders’ knowledge quoted by Windows Central indicate that the Windows 10 Copilot update would also include cross-compatible plugins which make it easy for users of different operating systems. This is a sign that Microsoft wants to universalize the design of its new age AI driven assistant and normalize it for users.
