Motorola is getting ready to launch another G-series phone in India. The Moto G Max will arrive on August 14, and while the company hasn't revealed its price yet, a Flipkart listing has already given us a pretty good idea of what to expect.
The launch is scheduled for 12pm on August 14. The phone will be available in three colours — blue, dark grey and pink — and has a flat frame with a satin finish.
Moto G Max specifications
The Moto G Max will come with a 6.72-inch FHD+ display running at 120Hz. The screen can reach 1,050 nits of HBM brightness, and Motorola is also adding its Water Touch 2.0 technology, which is meant to make the touchscreen easier to use when your fingers or the display are wet.
The phone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, along with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It will boot Android 16, and Motorola has confirmed two Android version upgrades and three years of security updates.
The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 600 main sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. There's also a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
The biggest talking point, however, is the battery. Motorola has fitted the Moto G Max with a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery and claims it can deliver up to three days of use. The battery is rated to retain its performance for up to 1,000 recharge cycles.
The rest of the package includes stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and, thankfully for wired-audio fans, a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone is IP64-rated and will use Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic. It also comes with MIL-STD 810H certification.

Moto G Max India price
Motorola hasn't said how much the Moto G Max will cost yet. A previous report, however, suggested a price of around Rs. 30,000.
