Samsung has officially begun rolling out the full version of One UI 7 to its flagship Galaxy S25 series, bringing a host of new features, design improvements, and performance upgrades. Built on top of Android 15, One UI 7 enhances the user experience with smarter AI integration, improved multitasking, more personalisation options, and better battery optimisation. Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra users can now enjoy a more seamless and responsive interface, along with updated system apps and security enhancements. The update marks the end of the beta phase and is now being pushed out in stages across regions. If you own a Galaxy S25 device, this is the software update you've been waiting for—check your settings to install it now.
Users of the Galaxy S25 series will now receive what is claimed to be the final version of One UI 7, based on Android 15. This update is currently rolling out in South Korea and will reach the rest of the regions in a few days.
Update Changelogs
Improvements and features will be added to the Galaxy S25 lineup with the new firmware update bearing “YD9”. Stabilisation improvements will be added for charging, camera, security, system, and other optimisations, which are key highlights of the new update.
Samsung warns users that once they move to this step of the update, rolling back to previous versions of One UI 7 with lower security levels will not be possible.
The Korean version of S25 Ultra has pushed YD9 firmware, and added some new features of the official version of One UI 7 that have not been completed before, such as music player in real-time window, new charging animation and so on.
