WhatsApp, which has been working on several platform changes, now appears to be focused on improving the recently announced Channels. According to sources, the WhatsApp Channels feature, which is gaining popularity, may soon get a new user interface designed to attract more users and improve their experience.

WaBetaInfo, a WhatsApp feature and news reporting website, discovered that the instant messaging platform's latest Beta version for Android 2.24.4.19 update includes newly updated WhatsApp Channels. However, it will be accessible to those who have the update and not everyone.

The report also notes that the new Chats Tab user interface is somewhat comparable to the current one and offers a more comfortable experience. Users will be able to recognise and engage with fresh Channel updates as well.

It should be noted that this modification is only available to select beta testers who have installed the most recent Android version, 2.24.4.19. Since the revised user interface has been brought to the official beta release, it is believed that the Meta-owned platform will spread it out to users in the next updates.

Meanwhile, the instant messaging network has added a new spam protection function to the app, allowing users to block others directly from their lock screen. WhatsApp has officially announced the update through its official account. The new functionality intends to save users time when blocking someone by providing a straight choice that eliminates the need to launch the app and block.
