78 Trains Affected by Track Upgrade Work

Separately, major engineering work is planned on the North Eastern Railway line to add a third track and double the line near Gorakhpur. Because of this, there will be service blocks from September 22 to September 26, which will affect a total of 78 trains.

- 51 trains will start their journey from a different station instead of their usual one.

- 24 trains will be rescheduled to run at a different time.

- 3 trains will be delayed along their route for 30 minutes to an hour.

The railway aims to complete this important work before the festival season (Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath Puja) so that more special trains can be run for passengers during the holidays.
