The Setu Nigam (Bridge Corporation) has formally approached the Irrigation Department seeking a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the proposed construction of a four-lane bridge over the Hindon River, connecting Siddharth Vihar and Vasundhara in Ghaziabad. 

The move aims to ensure that no obstacles arise during the bridge’s construction. The city MLA has also been informed about the proposal.

The idea of building the bridge was proposed by Sanjeev Sharma, MLA, to improve connectivity between Siddharth Vihar and Vasundhara. The District Magistrate has forwarded the proposal to the Principal Secretary of the Public Works Department for inclusion in the official action plan.

Rajnish Yadav, Project Manager at Setu Nigam, stated that once the NOC from the Irrigation Department is received, further steps for the construction will be initiated.

According to the MLA, the bridge will not only enhance connectivity between Siddharth Vihar, Vasundhara, and Indirapuram but also allow commuters to access the elevated road towards Delhi, easing travel in the region.
