Amethi has witnessed significant growth in the past eight years under the Yogi government, with major infrastructure projects like the Collectorate and Bypass completed. The district has also made strides in education, healthcare, and transportation.

Under the One District One Product scheme, 150 units have benefited, while 400 units were set up under the Chief Minister Youth Self-Employment Scheme. With an investment of Rs 2,500 crore, six large industries were established, generating direct and indirect employment for over 35,000 people. 

Key industries such as SLMG Beverage Pvt Ltd, Base Exports Pvt Ltd, Skylark Feeds, Gyandhara Cattle Feeds, Gorakhnath Organics, and Rajesh Masala have played a crucial role in the district's industrial expansion.

Additionally, under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan, loans were facilitated for 250 youths over the past two months to promote entrepreneurship and employment.

-ACC Ltd., Gauriganj: Expanded cement manufacturing projects with a Rs 400 crore investment, creating 500+ new jobs.

-SLMG Beverage Pvt. Ltd., Bhadar: Set up a factory with a Rs 700 crore investment, providing employment opportunities to locals.

Tioli's autonomous medical college, being built at a cost of Rs 30,112.44 lakh, is over 60 per cent complete. The construction of the Critical Care Block (CCB) has progressed to four floors, while work on the nursing college has recently begun, with only the ground floor completed. The government has allocated Rs 16,667 lakh so far for the project.

"In line with the government's vision, rapid development has taken place across industries, healthcare, and education. Employment opportunities have been created on a large scale by implementing schemes effectively," said Nisha Anant, DM Amethi.
