Acing the hit song ‘Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi’, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, Jisoo, Rose, and Jennie effortlessly garnered a huge fanbase as people loved the idols’ desi performance. The viral edit is now doing rounds on social media as netizens loved the performance. The video was shared on the social media site Instagram by the handle ‘Filmforfare’. The post was captioned, “Blackpink x Yaad Piya ki Aane Lagi.”

The edit went viral as fans, especially Blinks, loved the video. Some asked for more such clips, while others loved the song selection in combination with the dance video. The original video of the band’s dance performance for the viral edit has been taken from the dance practice to the hit song ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ that came back in 2018. The song still has a massive fan following and was from the album ‘Blackpink in Your Area’.

The song ‘Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi’, on which the viral video was edited, was a remake of the original song sung by ace singer Falguni Pathak. The original track was released in 1999, and was from the film ‘Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin’.
