Viral Video: Camping is all fun and games until an unexpected camper enters your tent WITHOUT an invitation. And no, we are not talking about the Disney movies-like intruders like butterflies, caterpillars, or maybe if you are lucky then friendly cats and dogs. We here, are instead talking about the deadly ones- snakes- to be more precise. And that is exactly what happened with a camper, who found a venomous Russell viper snake in his tent. A video of the same was shared online, which went viral.

However, as soon as the clip began to do rounds on social media, many came forward with the accusations that the entire incident was staged. The date and location of the incident could not be confirmed.

The video was shared on the social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘camping_master1’. The post was captioned, “Russell Viper Snake joined the group. New camping member.”

Taking to the comment section, people shared their views. “You just got lucky, the video was shot within Russell’s viper’s striking range. These specimens can strike within a blink of an eye,” a user said. “It's a highly venomous Russell Viper snake. Keep a safe distance. Brother kindly put in the caption so that people would be aware if they encounter this snake and don't get confused as python,” said a second person.

“If a snake is successfully entering your tent, maybe you are not made to live this life and use such things,” added a third person. “This is the filthiest thing I have seen. Putting a snake in that tent by yourself. And then calling it a rescue operation is where you fail as a trekker or hiker. You should have learned not to disturb nature. If this is going to be your way of treating nature surely you HAVE FAILED. SHAME ON YOU,” accused a fourth person.
