Hardik Pandya Viral Video: It’s been more than a week since the Indian Premier League 2024 hit off on March 22, yet it seems like IPL and Mumbai Indians’ fans are simply not ready to ‘accept’ Hardik Pandya as the new MI captain. Pandya replaced India’s ‘Hitman’, Rohit Sharma, as captain after switching teams from Gujarat Titans to MI for this season, which largely ‘offended’ fans all over the country. On top of ‘battling’ for the said ‘captaincy acceptance’, the defeat in the first two matches under the new captain only fueled the fire.

However, what is now seemingly becoming an uncalled-for pattern for IPL fans, is their questionable behavior towards the cricketer.

For the entire past week, all fans could talk about was Hardik Pandya. From audiences chanting ‘Rohit Sharma’ to his face to them calling him by derogatory slangs, videos displaying unnecessary ‘dislike’ for the cricketer only increased in numbers. Amid all this, a new video is now circulating on social media, which left people upset with Pandya yet again.

In the said video, the cricketer, as per netizens, allegedly ‘refused to hug’ Sri Lankan legend Lasith Malinga when he was coming for a hug after MI’s match with Sunrisers Hyderabad. The match was held on March 27 in Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, whereas the video is trending like crazy on the internet. People are reacting to it, where the majority claimed that Pandya did 'refused' on ‘purpose’.

Meanwhile, another video was shared on the internet, where Malinga was seen getting up for Pandya so that he could sit on the chair. What triggered people in this clip, was that the MI captain did not stop the Sri Lankan player.

The ‘pushing’ video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Satya_Prakash08’. The post was captioned, “Does Hardik Pandya kick Lasith Malinga? His hands, and face react same story. Not a good way to treat legend like Lasith Malinga.”
