People usually do not joke around police officials. However, the case is mostly different for the internet. It’s common for internet users to enjoy some light humour with official police social media handles. Doing something similar, a man requested the Delhi Police to find him a girlfriend. His comment was made on an unrelated post that the Delhi Police shared on social media.
Of course, clarifying his status, the man also mentioned being single. However, his ‘single’ turned into ‘signal’ in a funny spelling mistake, which the Delhi Police was quick to notice. Responding to the man’s adorable request, the police came up with a hilarious reply that also had a traffic reference.
Commenting on the Delhi Police’s X (formerly Twitter) post, the said man wrote, “Meri girlfriend kab banwaoge? (When will you help me in finding a girlfriend) Main abhi signal Hoon Delhi police (I am currently ‘signal’) This is not fair you should help me to find a girlfriend for me.” The comment was made by the handle ‘kilvishup90’. The post was shared today and pulled 355K views from people.

Responding to the man, the police’s reply read, “Sir, we can help you find her (only if she ever goes missing). Tip: If you are a 'signal', we hope you stay green, not red.”
