Viral Video: Experiencing turbulence inside an air-tight ‘container’ while flying way above in the sky, is one of the worst things that one can go through. And unfortunately, experiencing something so life-threatening is not that uncommon. Recently, a Doha to Dublin-bound Qatar flight became the latest to face turbulence while it was flying over Baghdad. The turbulence was reportedly hard enough to leave 12 passengers injured. However, more than the risky incident, it was a man who took all the spotlight with just his hilarious explanation of what happened.

The narration by the man and the incident itself, surely were miles apart as far as the gravity of the accident was considered. However, the way the man described the incident left the internet laughing. While opening up about the turbulence to a news channel, the man even ended up showing his torn pants from the back.

“You know, they have the seatbelt signs on. They were off. Next minute, one dinner came off my lap, just food all over the plane, on the ceiling, everywhere. This managed to happen,” the man was heard saying in the video.

The flight, on the other hand, reportedly landed safely at the Dublin Airport. As per reports, the crew and passengers also received immediate aid as services like police, fire and rescue departments arrived at the airport.

The video was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘RTÉ News’, with the caption, “Passengers on a flight from Qatar to Ireland describe the moment they experienced turbulence while airborne over Turkey.” The video was shared two days ago and pulled more than 9K likes from people.

The video, soon after getting shared, went viral and left people commenting. Most found the man’s explanation hilarious, while the rest expressed relief over the passengers’ safety. Many also recounted their own experiences with turbulences.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “She'll never forgive him for that- She experienced weightlessness,” a user said. “Mam on the phone of ripped pants guy,” added another. “I had the worst turbulence from Lima to Bogota the other day, everyone started praying and crying on the flight. Flying back to Ireland tomorrow and I’m terrified of planes now,” added a third user.

“What the heck is happening with the turbulence bro,” added another. “Fun fact the air hostess didn’t go up in the air she actually stayed where she was,” joked another. “Another reason not to go commando in the plane, and always wear underwear,” joked the next. “Wow if they felt falling for 20 seconds, what happened then?! Turbulence doesn't make the plain falling,” wrote the next.
