It's hard to deny the fact that Indian streets can be a task sometimes. From people driving and dancing at the same time on their bikes or scooters to auto or rickshaw drivers dragging people while trying to flee after committing a questionable act, social media, by now, has seen far too many ‘Indian street complications’, which has only left people speechless. Adding to the list, another similar incident came forward, where a Bengaluru woman claimed that an auto-rickshaw driver allegedly spat Gutka on her white shirt. Taking to social media, she also shared a few pictures of her shirt that turned red in ways that no one would have ‘appreciated’.
Her post instantly went viral and pulled a mass reaction. As per some, it also highlighted the lack of strictness that India has in terms of ‘traffic punishments and basic etiquette’.
The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘parishi_twts’. The post was captioned, “While walking around Indiranagar, an auto driver spat on me, and it happened to be the day I wore a white shirt.”

The post was shared two days ago and pulled 673K views from people. Most cracked jokes on the matter, while the rest were irked over it. Some also suggested the woman to file an FIR so that the police could investigate.
As the post went viral, the Bengaluru City Police also intervened and asked the woman to provide details of the matter. “Please provide specific area details and your contact number via DM,” the response read.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “He turned a simple white shirt into printed,” a user joked. “A few things we can do: - Ban it and fine people who make it or consume it. - Wear only red. - Tell office friends it’s a new designer shirt - The Gutka Collection,” added another.

“Did you notice his number plate? Report this and police will try to recover the number from CCTV. This kind of behaviour should be punished. It might seem a long process but he won’t dare to do this next to anyone,” commented a third person. “That's disgusting! Do you want to file a case against the auto driver?” added another.
