Chennai Viral Video: In a miraculous incident in Chennai, a toddler was rescued by locals after it ended by getting stuck on a building’s second-floor window poach. The case reportedly took place in Avadi’s Thirumullaivoyal, where the kid accidentally slipped from its mother’s lap, who was on the fourth floor. Luckily for the kid, the residents in the building were quick to come up with a plan to rescue the little one and successfully did so. The said video went viral and gained mass criticism from people against parents, while the rest lauded the rescuers for their bravery.
The date of the incident could not be confirmed. Whereas, the kid seemed in safer hands at the end of the video, after it was rescued.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘RengarajMr’. The post was captioned, “Today morning in my cousin's apartment in Chennai.”

The video, soon after getting shared, went viral and divided the internet. Half the netizens demanded action against parents, and dubbed it a result of ‘negligence by parents’, while the rest expressed relief at the child being okay and called the incident a ‘miracle’. The video was shared yesterday and pulled 972K views from people.
Taking to the internet, people shared their views. “Question, how in the hell did the kid end up over there? Where are the parents? watching web series maybe,” a user said. “The baby limped out when the mom tried to pick a mop… it was an accident…from the 4th floor to the 2nd... it is miraculous,” added a second person. “The parents would definitely be booked for negligence in any developed country, not in India. Notice how the neighbours stepped in to rescue and not emergency services!” wrote a third person.
“From what I could gather from this thread looks like the baby slipped out of mother's hand from one of the upper floor balconies onto this shed structure. This is why it is so important to have safety grills & nets installed on balconies in all apartments. Miracle that kid is ok,” added a fourth person. “How did the baby go there? Whatever is happy for him. This video will be shocking to him when he grows up,” wrote the fifth.
