Viral Video: The phrase ‘messing around and finding out’ came to life at a railways station in Lucknow, after a man was caught stealing a tap from an AC coach. What further triggered the passengers and the people at the station was that the train ended up getting delayed due to the man’s theft. A video of the crowd confronting the robber was shared online, which immediately went viral and left people reacting. The said man, in the clip, was seen getting beaten up by many as he was getting dragged by another man. A few people were also clicking pictures of the miscreant . The date and place were not confirmed, but according to the post’s caption, the incident took place at the Lucknow Charbagh station. 

The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle 'Arhant Shelby'. It was then re-shared by the handle ‘gharkekalesh’, with the caption, “Charbagh Station Kalesh, Lucknow (he was stealing a tap from an AC coach which led to the delay of the train).”

The video went viral and received all kinds of reactions from people. Most sympathised with the crowd and called the man a ‘miscreant’ for delaying the train, while others chastised the crowd for dealing with the man with violence and not handing him over to the authorities. The post was shared today and pulled 26K views from people.

Taking to the comment box, people shared their take. “Instead of sending him behind bars, Railway court put him for community service to clean the washrooms of AC coaches on the same station, then only he will fall in line,” a user said. “People are not ready for development,” said a second person. “It's almost always either UP or Bihar,” commented a third netizen. “This is just ridiculous. I can't believe that the man, just for his crime, might have caused people many important meetings, events or flights, buses, etc.,” joined a fourth person. 

“They should not beat him up. He might be a thief but the crowd can not take matters into their own hands like this,” added next.
