Varanasi Viral Video: A woman ended up on the wrong side of the internet, after a troubling video of her was shared on social media. As per the clip, the woman in question was caught stealing in a store in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi. However, the confrontation turned ugly after the security began to drag the accused out of the store. What triggered people the most, was that despite being caught while committing a crime, the woman continued to argue and fight with the accusers. The date of the incident could not be confirmed, while the said video went viral.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’. The post was captioned, “Kalesh b/w female security guard and a girl who was got caught stealing things. Vishal megamart Varanasi.”

The video, soon after getting shared, went viral and left people reacting. Most people chastised the accused’s attitude despite being caught, while the rest suggested that the police should have been called on the girls.

The post was shared today and pulled 51K views from people. Taking to the comment section, people shared their take.

“Instead, if a boy had been caught stealing, the public would have beaten him so much,” a user said. “Look at the attitude the thief is showing. What is wrong with people these days,” added a second person. “Ek toh chori upar se sinajori.. Waah kalyug hai (Firstly, she was caught cheating, then she chose to behave like that? It surely is Kalyug),” added another.

“Keep stealing and getting beaten and see everyone laughing and happy,” joked a fourth person. “Internet brings up this kind of video,” wrote another. “Something or the other, always keeps on happening,” added a sixth person. “Downright arrogant and aggressive lady. Police should be called,” commented the next.
