The love and respect towards the Army is not limited to just the soldiers but is also shared among the family members of the soldiers serving at the border. The internet witnessed something similar when a video of a soldier receiving a warm welcome from his family surfaced on social media. The grand welcome turned into a celebration as the returnee was visiting his home after becoming a soldier. The pride and happiness of the family on seeing their son in uniform was evident in the video. The heartwarming clip instantly went viral.
The video was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter), by user Sandeep Thapar. The post was captioned, “The pride in this family when their young one becomes a soldier. Till the tradition of ‘Namak, Naam aur Nishan’ runs in our veins, our nation is safe. Happy Independence Day."

The video began with the soldier getting off a vehicle. He then did a march-past on a red carpet that led him to his front gate. His family members were standing at the gate to welcome him. Reaching the gate, he began to hug his family members one by one. He also saluted a few members of his family and received a warm smile from his family in return.
The video won many hearts on the internet, which made it go viral. The people loved the respect the young soldier’s family showed towards the Army. The video was posted today, August 15, and has pulled 182.5K views from the netizens.
