West Asia Crisis: Amid the ongoing war between Iran and the joint forces of Israel and the US, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday chaired a meeting with the chief ministers to review preparedness. In the high-level meeting via video conferencing, the prime minister focused on dealing with the crisis "Team India". The movement of ships through the Strait of Hormuz has been affected due to the war, leading to a possible energy crisis in India and its neighbouring nations.

- US Secretary of State Marco Rubio told G7 ministers that the Iran war could end in weeks, adding that the US did not need to send troops to Tehran to meet its objectives. Rubio further criticised Iran for disrupting the ship's movement through the Strait of Hormuz.
- The centre again refuted the rumours suggesting a shortage of petrol and cooking gas by asserting that the government has taken several steps to ensure that the demands are met. In a statement, the authorities urged the people to not trust such claims, urging them to not panic.
- FBI director Kash Patel's email got hacked by Iran-linked group Handala Hack Team on Friday. "This is the security that the US government boasts about?! This is the cyber giant that thinks threats and bribes can silence the voice of resistance?!" the group wrote on its website.
- While US President Donald Trump has hinted that truce talks have been ongoing with Tehran, Israel on Friday stated that it will intensify its attacks on Iran and Hezbollah's centers in Lebanon.

- The Iranian atomic energy organisation on Friday stated that the strike from the US and Israel hit a uranium processing facility in central parts of the country. "The plant in Ardakan, located in Yazd Province, was targeted minutes ago in an attack by the American-Zionist enemy," it said.
- The IRGC has stated that the Strait of Hormuz is closed for the US-Israeli allies, adding that any ship attempting to pass through without its permission will face a "harsh response".
