MG Hector Facelift 2026: MG Motor India's upcoming unveil, the all-new Hector SUV, has been leaked ahead of its debut, slated to take place on December 15, 2025. The first set of leaked images that emerged online reveals the upcoming SUV's styling updates and subtle interior changes. From the teaser video and leaked images, it is clear that the overall silhouette appears similar to that of the predecessor, but the facelifted Hector has a redesigned nose characterised by a horizontal-slatted new grille, split LED headlamps, and a mildly tweaked front bumper.

Sides remain largely the same, except that the new SUV seems to feature new alloy wheels, likely to be 19-inch units. Around the rear, the new Hector appears to get the same full-width LED taillamps and a reworked bumper. Besides, we expect a few new exterior colour options on offer, including the dark blue shade seen in the images.

MG Hector Facelift: Engine

The 2026 is expected to carry over the turbo-petrol and diesel engine options from the outgoing model. That said, there is a chance that the brand might introduce a diesel-AT powertrain, since the Harrier and the Compass are offered with an automatic gearbox option, along with a manual unit. The Hector is currently available with the following gearbox options: 6-speed manual and 8-speed CVT.
