Ather 450 Apex Price Increased: Ather Energy, a leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer in India launched the 450 Apex in the country in January. The Ather 450 Apex was touted to be their most powerful electric scooter yet. It was initially launched with a price tag of Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom) which was an introductory offer as the price of the Ather 450 Apex has now been raised to Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom).

Ather 450 Apex - Design
Talking about its design, it stands out with its unique "Indium Blue" paint and bright orange accents on the wheels, logos, and frame. It also features clear side panels, similar to the Ather 450X Series, giving it a nostalgic feel.
Ather 450 Apex - Performance
In terms of performance, the 450 Apex has a more powerful motor, producing 7 kW of peak power, which is 0.6 kW more than the standard 450X. The torque on the Ather 450 Apex hasn't changed, but the new "Warp+" riding mode allows it to reach a top speed of 100 km/h. It accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, almost half a second faster than the standard model. Ather also claims a 30 per cent improvement in roll-on acceleration, making it much easier to overtake other vehicles. The 450 Apex uses the same 3.7 kWh battery and suspension as the 450X, but it doesn't have an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS). It does come with a standard tyre pressure monitoring system.

Ather 450 Apex - Magic Twist
The Ather 450 Apex features a new advanced regenerative braking system and a "Magic Twist" energy management algorithm. This setup promises smoother stops and can even bring the scooter to a complete halt without using the brakes, regardless of battery level. This innovation also increases the scooter's range to 157 km, in comparison to the standard model's 150 km.
