Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder 

Toyota’s Urban Cruiser Hyryder is one of the best mileage cars in India that gives a mileage of 27 Kmpl. Two variants of petrol engines and one CNG engine are available for the Toyota Hyryder. The CNG engine is 1462 cc, compared to the 1462 and 1490 cc of the petrol engines. Both an automatic and manual transmission are available. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder is a five-seater car.

Maruti Grand Vitara 

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is a 5-seater compact SUV providing a mileage of  27 Kmpl and is equipped with the same 1.5-litre petrol mild-hybrid and 1.5-litre petrol strong-hybrid engines that produces 103bhp and 116bhp, respectively. The latest model features three driving modes: gasoline, hybrid, and pure EV. It also features self-charging technology. 

Honda City Hybrid

The Honda City Hybrid is integrated with a 1.5-litre petrol engine and twin electric motors to provide 126 bhp and 253 Nm of torque. It has an e-CVT gearbox and achieves 27.13 Kmpl fuel efficiency. The hybrid version of the City is priced from Rs 18.89 lakh to Rs 20.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The City Hybrid comes in two variants: V and ZX.

Maruti Celerio 

The Maruti Celerio’s prices start from Rs 5.37 lakh and go up to Rs 7.14 lakh (ex-showroom).  It is offered in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. The Celerio comes with a 1-litre petrol engine producing 67bhp and 89Nm of torque mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT. The CNG version comes only with a 5-speed manual transmission and produces 57bhp and 82 Nm of torque. The Maruti Celerio boasts a mileage of 26 Kmpl.
