BMW 220i M Sport Shadow Edition: BMW India has launched the new BMW 220i M Sport Shadow Edition as a limited-run model. It will be produced locally at the BMW Group Plant in Chennai. This exclusive edition is priced at Rs 46.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available only through the BMW Online Shop.

BMW 220i M Sport Shadow Edition - Exterior 

Talking about its exterior appearance, the 220i M Sport Shadow Edition comes in two colour options -  Alpine White and Skyscraper Grey. It features a distinctive blacked-out kidney grille and other standout design elements. The exterior boasts a sleek silhouette with four frameless doors and pronounced shoulders, giving the car a low, wide stance. It also features adaptive LED headlights with M lights shadow line. Additional sporty touches include an all-black rear spoiler and BMW floating hub cap.

BMW 220i M Sport Shadow Edition - Interior 

Moving inside, the 220i M Sport Shadow Edition offers sport seats with an electric memory function and a driver-focused cockpit. The 'Illuminated Berlin' interior trim, carbon gear selector, and ambient lighting with six dimmable designs create a sporty yet comfortable atmosphere. The luggage compartment offers 430 litres of space, which can be expanded by folding down the split rear seat backrest. 

BMW 220i M Sport Shadow Edition - Features 

In terms of features, the 220i M Sport Shadow Edition gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and a 10.25-inch Control Display. Additional tech includes the BMW Virtual Assistant, BMW Gesture Control, and wireless Apple CarPlay. Parking is made easier with the parking assistant, rear view camera and reversing assistant. Safety is a top priority with six airbags, Attentiveness Assistance, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), ensuring maximum protection for passengers.

BMW 220i M Sport Shadow Edition - Powertrain 

In terms of engine specs, the 220i M Sport Shadow Edition is powered by a two-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that generates a power output of 190 bhp and a maximum torque of 280 Nm. This enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.1 seconds. It is offered with three driving modes - Eco Pro, Comfort and Sport.
