New Hero Splendor Plus XTEC Launched: Hero MotoCorp, a leading two-wheeler manufacturer in India has introduced the new-generation Splendor Plus XTEC 2.0 in the country. This launch marks the 30th anniversary of the Splendor that has now been updated with several advanced features to stay competitive in the market. The 2024 Splendor Plus XTEC 2.0 also introduces a new dual-tone paint scheme. These new colour options add to the bike’s appeal, making it more attractive to a broader audience.

New Hero Splendor Plus XTEC - Design 

In terms of design, the new-gen Splendor Plus XTEC 2.0 now sports a new LED headlamp with a high-intensity position lamp (HIPL) and an H-shaped signature taillight for a unique look. Despite these updates, the bike retains its classic silhouette. It is now available in three dual-tone colours - Matte Grey, Gloss Black, and Gloss Red. 

New Hero Splendor Plus XTEC - Features 

Talking about its features, the new Hero Splendor Plus XTEC 2.0 boasts a range of modern features. It includes a digital speedometer with an eco-indicator and a Real-Time Mileage Indicator (RTMI). The instrument console is equipped with Bluetooth connectivity for calls, SMS, and battery alerts. For enhanced safety, the bike now has hazard lights. Other updates include USB charging, a longer seat for improved comfort and a larger glovebox. 

New Hero Splendor Plus XTEC - Engine Specs 

Coming to its engine specs, the new-gen Splendor Plus XTEC 2.0 is powered by the familiar 100 cc engine that delivers a power output of 7.9 bhp and 8.05 Nm of peak torque. It features the Idle Stop Start System (i3S), which promises a claimed fuel economy of 73 km/l.

New Hero Splendor Plus XTEC - Price

The 2024 Splendor Plus XTEC 2.0 has been launched in India at a price of Rs 82,911 (ex-showroom).
