Mercedes-Benz, a German luxury car maker, has officially announced that it has opened the bookings of its much anticipated GLC SUV. The SUV will be introduced on August 9 and will be available at dealerships all across the country. The people who are looking to buy the SUV can book their ride by paying a booking amount of Rs 1.5 lakh. Buyers can also book their SUV by visiting the Mercedes-Benz India website.

Mercedes-Benz GLC Variants:
The upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV will come with two different models including the GLC 300 4MATIC and the GLC 220d 4MATIC and will continue to be offered with 4MATIC (the company’s all-wheel drive feature) as standard for better on-road performance. The company has also added the NTG 7 infotainment system which makes it the first SUV of the company with such digital features.
Mercedes-Benz GLC: Will It Be Better Than Its Predecessors?
The Mercedes-Benz GLC 2023 will be bigger and more powerful as compared to the previous generation. The car will make its India debut with the GLC 300 petrol and the GLC 220d diesel models with the addition of a 48V integrated starter motor using which the SUV will be able to churn out 22bhp more than the predecessor. The car has already made its global debut last year and will come up with enhanced features and luxury in India.
Mercedes-Benz GLC Features:
The all-new GLC gets a Mercedes C-Class-type interior with two screens including the 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 11.9-inch infotainment screen. It would carry on the legacy of the company’s luxury interior. However, no more details have been announced by the company at the time of writing.

Mercedes GLC Price, Competitors (Expected):
According to reports, the GLC would come into Indian markets in August, with a projected price of Rs 75 lakh (ex-showroom). In the country, the car will compete against the BMW X3, Audi Q5, Volvo XC60, Lexus NX, and Land Rover Discovery Sport.
