New MG Hector:  The all-new MG Hector facelift is all set for its unveiling on December 15, 2025, in India. The brand is heavily teasing its upcoming SUV, and it has released a new teaser in the same series. The prototype of the 2026 MG Hector has also been spied testing several times. Let’s take a look at the expected design, features, and powertrain of the upcoming new MG Hector.

MG Hector Facelift New Teaser

As informed earlier, the brand has recently shared a new teaser of the MG Hector facelift. The new teaser showcases a new Celadon Blue paint shade of the new MG Hector. It is worth mentioning that a similar paint shade was also visible in the images recently leaked ahead of the SUV’s debut. The new teaser also shares some glimpses of the side profile of the SUV, along with the sloping roofline, chrome garnish around the window, and the MG logo.

MG Hector Facelift: Design

The MG Hector facelift retains the overall contour of its outgoing model. However, the new MG Hector is also expected to feature several design details that will differentiate it from the predecessor. The MG Hector facelift comes with a redesigned front grille with horizontal slats, split LED headlights, and a redesigned bumper. The sides also remain largely the same, albeit it is expected to feature new 19-inch alloy wheels. On the rear, the SUV is expected to get a connected LED taillamp and a redesigned bumper.

MG Hector Facelift: Expected Features

The MG Hector facelift is also expected to come equipped with several advanced features. The list of features on the new MG Hector may include a dual-tone theme-based interior, a larger vertically placed touchscreen in the centre, multi-touch gesture controls, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, a two-zone climate control system, rear AC vents, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.

MG Hector Facelift: Expected Powertrain

While the MG Hector facelift is expected to receive some major changes in terms of design and features, it will likely retain the powertrain options offered on the outgoing model. The new MG Hector is expected to come equipped with the same turbo-petrol and diesel engine options as the outgoing model. However, the brand is also expected to introduce a new diesel-automatic powertrain option with the upcoming MG Hector facelift.
