Sachin Tendulkar Car Collection: Popularly known as the ‘Master Blaster’, Sachin Tendulkar is celebrating his 51st birthday today. He has made a name for himself out of hard work, talent and sheer determination. There is a reason why he is referred to as the ‘God of Cricket’ and therefore, needs no introduction. Along with his cricket career, Sachin Tendulkar is also known for his love for automobiles and owns an extravagant car collection. Let’s take a look at some of the popular cars he owns.
Sachin Tendulkar Car Collection List
Maruti 800
Sachin Tendulkar's first car, just like many Indians, was the Maruti 800 that he bought in the late 1980s. Despite owning faster and more luxurious cars now, he still keeps the Maruti 800, possibly due to sentimental reasons.
BMW i8
Among the many cars in his collection is the BMW i8, a hybrid sports car from BMW. This luxurious car was launched in India in 2015 at a starting price of Rs 2.29 crore. Tendulkar owns this prized possession and has recently made modifications to it.
Ferrari 360 Modena
Tendulkar received a special gift from Formula One champion Michael Schumacher in 2002 – a Ferrari 360 Modena. This gift was given to celebrate Tendulkar scoring his 29th Test hundred. His Ferrari was even featured in a Bollywood film called 'Ferrari ki Sawari' before he sold it in 2011.
Porsche 911 Turbo S
Recently, Tendulkar added a Porsche 911 Turbo S to his collection. This sports car, finished in black with grey alloy wheels, is the most expensive variant of the Porsche 911 series in India. It is priced at Rs 3.13 crore.
Lamborghini Urus S
Reports suggest that Tendulkar also owns a Lamborghini Urus S. He added the popular Italian SUV in his collection last year. This powerful SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in just 3.5 seconds.
Nissan GT-R Egoist Edition
Tendulkar's collection includes the Nissan GT-R Egoist edition, a luxurious version of the GT-R. This limited edition car was produced in limited quantities of 43 units globally, and this is the only one in India. Tendulkar acquired this car after selling his Ferrari 360 Modena.
Apart from these models, he also currently owns and used to own several other models such as Volvo S80, Fiat Palio, Audi Q7, BMW X5 M, BMW M6 Gran Coupe, BMW E60 M5, BMW M5 Jahre edition and BMW 7-Series 750Li M Sport.
