Tata Altroz Racer Bookings: Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the Altroz Racer in the Indian market soon. Tata has already commenced the bookings for this sporty hatchback. The Altroz Racer will be offered in three trims: R1, R2 and R3. Buyers can choose from three colours: Atomic Orange, Avenue White and Pure Grey. The Tata Altroz Racer has been spotted several times and has revealed key information about the design details of the performance focussed hatchback.

Tata Altroz Racer - Design 

Talking about the design of the Tata Altroz Racer, it features a dual-tone colour scheme with white stripes on the roof and hood. The car also sports a larger roof-mounted spoiler for a sportier appearance, though it retains the standard model's alloy wheels. The concept car showcased black multi-spoke alloys, but these are not available on the production model.

Tata Altroz Racer - Interior 

Moving inside, the Tata Altroz Racer boasts an all-black interior with contrasting elements in the stitching, upholstery stripes and ambient lighting. In terms of features, it is equipped with advanced features like a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats and a blind spot monitoring system. It also includes a new 10.25-inch touchscreen system and an all-digital instrument cluster with the latest user interface seen in recent Tata models.

Tata Altroz Racer - Engine Specs 

In terms of engine specs, the Tata Altroz Racer is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine borrowed from the Nexon. This engine is capable of delivering a power output of 120 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. It comes with a 6-speed manual transmission and a louder exhaust note to enhance its sporty appeal. There will be no automatic transmission option available when it is launched.

Tata Altroz Racer - Rivals and Price Expectation 

Talking about its rivals and price expectations, the Tata Altroz Racer will compete directly with Hyundai i20 N Line. The Altroz Racer is expected to be priced around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). With its performance upgrades and stylish features, the Altroz Racer aims to attract enthusiasts looking for a sporty hatchback experience.
