Tata Altroz Racer Teased: Tata Motors a leading automobile manufacturer in India is gearing up to launch a performance focussed variant of the popular Tata Altroz hatchback. The upcoming Altroz Racer is set to be launched in June 2024 and the manufacturer has been sharing teaser videos and images ahead of its launch. A new teaser video has been released, showcasing key design features and an exciting new element of this sportier premium hatchback.

Tata Altroz Racer - Design
The latest teaser reveals the design of the 2024 Altroz Racer. The car sports a striking orange exterior with a contrasting black roof, creating a two-tone look. It features dual white stripes running along the bonnet and roof, ending in a racing flag design at the rear. Black accents on the pillars, rear door handles, bonnet and shoulder line enhance its aggressive appearance. Additional sporty elements include a shark-fin antenna and "Racer" badging on the front fender, highlighting the car's performance-oriented nature.
Tata Altroz Racer - Interior
Moving inside the new Tata Altroz Racer, the car has orange accents around the infotainment screen and gear lever. A standout feature of the new Tata Altroz Racer is its electric sunroof. The cabin is equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a redesigned digital instrument cluster for better information display and a wireless charging pad. For added comfort, the car offers ventilated front seats and automatic climate control.
Tata Altroz Racer - Engine
Under the hood, it will be equipped with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that is also used in the Nexon. This engine is capable of churning a power output of 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. The Altroz Racer will come with a six-speed manual transmission as standard, with an optional seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that might be offered.
Tata Altroz Racer - Expected Price
Pricing for the Tata Altroz Racer is expected to be higher than the current Tata Altroz iTurbo, which is priced between Rs 9.20 lakh and Rs 10.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The Altroz Racer will be positioned directly against the Hyundai i20 N Line, which ranges from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 12.52 lakh (ex-showroom).
