Tata Motors, leading automobile manufacturer in India is gearing up to launch the Curvv SUV for the Indian market in the upcoming year. Tata Curvv SUV was recently showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 in Delhi. Moreover, the Curvv SUV has also been spotted testing several times on Indian roads, further confirming its imminent launch. Now it has been spotted testing again with emission testing components, confirming that the ICE powered Curvv is also set to be launched soon.

Tata Curvv - Powertrain
Tata Curvv SUV model showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo featured a 1.5-litre diesel engine that is also utilised in the Altroz and Nexon. This diesel engine is capable of delivering a power output of 113 bhp and torque of 260 Nm. Apart from this diesel engine, the Curvv SUV will also be equipped with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. Tata Curvv equipped with a petrol engine was unveiled at last year's Auto Expo. Apart from ICE powertrains, Tata is also planning to launch the Curvv SUV in EV iterations as well.
Tata Curvv - Design
Talking about the design of the Curvv SUV, it features a coupe inspired body structure with various updates in its design such as LED DRLs and a lightbar influenced by Tata's latest design language seen in models like Nexon, Punch, Harrier and Safari. When compared to the concept model showcased at the Auto Expo 2023, the Tata Curvv SUV has undergone updates to its front grille, bumper and headlight units, alongside repositioned air vents and a lower air intake on the bumper. The side profile closely mirrors the concept version, with new additions in the production models including fresh alloy designs, larger wheel arches featuring black claddings and flush door handles. Modifications at the rear include changes to the connected LED tail lights.
Tata Curvv - Price & Launch
Post its launch, the Tata Curvv SUV is expected to be priced between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival other models in the mid-size SUV segment such as Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and MG Astor. It is expected to be launched before the second half of 2024.
