AUS vs ENG 2nd Test Predicted XI
Australia will be up against England in the second Test of the ongoing Ashes 2025-26 at The Gabba in Brisbane, which is scheduled to be played from December 4 to 8. This will be a pink-ball Test as Australia look to extend their lead in the five-match series.
Australia will be heading into the match on the back of a famous win in the first Test in Perth. They outclassed England in the low-scoring contest, winning the game by 8 wickets on the back of memorable performances from Mitchell Starc and Travis Head to go 1-0 up in the series. In Brisbane, the challenge will only get bigger for the visitors, with the likes of Starc and Scott Boland waiting to capitalise on the relatable helpful conditions in the day-night Test.
Apart from the senior pacers Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins, the star opener Usman Khawaja will also be sitting out the Gabba Test due to a back injury and will be replaced by Josh Inglis in the Playing 11. In his absence, Travis Head will continue to open the batting with newcomer Jake Weatherald. On the other hand, Brendan Doggett looks certain to keep his place in the team after an impressive debut.

AUS vs ENG 2nd Test, Brisbane Pitch Report: The pitch at The Gabba is expected to assist the bowlers during the AUS vs ENG 2nd Ashes Test.
