CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and opted to bowl first against Rishabh Pant's side. Inglis' rapid fifty launched Lucknow Super Giants to a strong start.
Marsh and Inglis opened with a rapid half-century partnership by the fourth over, moments after Inglis reached his fifty in just 16 balls. Anshul Kamboj removed Marsh for 10, with Dewald Brevis catching him in the deep.
