ICC Women's World Cup 2025 Points Table: India jumped to the top of the ICC Women's World Cup points table after their dominating win over Pakistan in match 6 at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday.

This was India's second win of the tournament, and they now have four points under their belt. Their first win came against Sri Lanka in Guwahati. Australia are now placed second in the standings on the back of one win in their two matches, followed by England in third, whereas Bangladesh and Sri Lanka complete the top five.

After being put into bat first, India scored 247 in their 50 overs and were also bowled out. Harleen Deol was the top run-getter with a 46-run knock, whereas Richa Ghosh came up with an impactful contribution of unbeaten 35 runs in 20 balls, hitting three fours and two sixes.

India bowled Pakistan out for 159 runs in 43 overs, with Kranti Gaud being the pick of the bowlers. She came up with a match-winning effort of three wickets for just 20 runs in her 10 overs. Deepti Sharma also took three wickets while Sneh Rana found a couple of scalps.

Sidra Amin's 81-run knock went in vain. After defeats against Bangladesh and India, Pakistan have dropped down to the sixth spot. New Zealand and South Africa are yet to register their respective first wins in the ongoing tournament.
