India vs Australia Final, World Cup 2023: Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and Australia's captain Pat Cummins posed for the pre-match photo session with the World Cup 2023 trophy on Saturday.

India and Australia will face off in the final of the World Cup 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, November 19.

The two skippers headed to Adalaj Stepwell in the city of Ahmedabad for the special photograph session ahead of the much-awaited title clash.

One of the two captains will have the fortunate chance to lift the trophy at the end of Sunday night.

Take a look at the few photos of Rohit Sharma and Pat Cummins with the World Cup Trophy that ICC shared on social media:

Australia, who are the most successful side in the history of the tournament with five titles, will be playing their record eighth final and will be aiming to add one more silverware to their tally.

India, on the other hand, haven't won any ICC trophy since 2013 while they last won the World Cup in 2011 at home.

They will be heading into their fourth WC final and have the golden opportunity to clinch their third title.

The Men in Blue will be going into the title clash as the favorites as they have been the most consistent and dominant side in the tournament so far.

They won all of their nine league matches and topped the standings before defeating New Zealand by 70 runs in the first semi-final at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Australia had a poor start to their tournament as they lost the first two matches but bounced back magnificently to win their remaining eight matches and finished in the top four.

They defeated South Africa by three wickets in the second semi-final at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata to make it to yet another World Cup final.

Notably, India got the better of the mighty Aussies in the league stage of the tournament, having defeated them by six wickets in their first match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
