- Mitchell Santner will captain both squads as New Zealand rotates players.
- The five-match ODI series begins on November 4 at Eden Park in Auckland.
New Zealand have announced their squads for the upcoming five-match ODI series against India, with Finn Allen, Lockie Ferguson, Rachin Ravindra and Tim Seifert among the notable inclusions. Mitchell Santner will captain the Blackcaps as they prepare to host India from November 4.
The ODI series will follow the five-match T20I contest, scheduled from October 22 to November 1. The opening ODI will be played at Eden Park in Auckland.
New Zealand have divided their squad into two groups, with seven additional players joining for the fourth and fifth ODIs. The arrangement will allow some members of the team to travel to Wellington after the third match to prepare for the upcoming Test series against India.
Finn Allen, Lockie Ferguson And Tim Seifert Return
Allen and Ferguson are set to return to New Zealand's ODI setup after last featuring in the format in 2023. Ferguson's most recent appearance came in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup semi-final against India in Mumbai.

Wicketkeeper-batter Seifert has been named for the final two matches, having last played an ODI during New Zealand's home series against Pakistan around 18 months ago.
Ravindra, meanwhile, will be available for the first three ODIs after recovering from a shoulder injury that ruled him out of New Zealand's T20I squad for the India series.
Santner will lead both squads, with Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Jacob Duffy, Will Young and Blair Tickner included across the two groups.
New Zealand Look To Build On Historic ODI Series Win
The Blackcaps will aim to build on their historic 2-1 ODI series victory over India in January, which marked the first time New Zealand had won a bilateral ODI series on Indian soil.
The upcoming contest will also provide both teams with an opportunity to assess their combinations ahead of the 2027 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup.
New Zealand are scheduled to announce their 14-member Test squad in early November, with the two-match Test series against India beginning on November 19.
