IND vs PAK Final Highlights: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman, who also serves as the Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, is in the news again for all the wrong reasons. After creating an unnecessary hassle during the Asia Cup post-tournament presentation after India refused to accept the trophy from his hands, Naqvi claims that Team India has disgraced the spirit of the game.
Naqvi, whose X account is banned in India, took to his official account to respond to the Indian Prime Minister's post on 'Operation Sindoor' after a resounding defeat at the hands of India.
"If war was your measure of pride, history already records your humiliating defeats at Pakistan's hands. No cricket match can rewrite that truth. Dragging war into sport only exposes desperation and disgraces the very spirit of the game," said Naqvi.
Earlier PM Modi applauded India's famous win, saying, "Operation Sindoor on the games field. Outcome is the same - India wins! Congrats to our cricketers."

Naqvi's Post Reeks Of Misinformation And Ignorance
Naqvi's lack of grasp on history and facts is clearly revealed as he requires a lecture on how often Pakistan has had to concede to India’s superiority during conflicts. Pakistan's biggest-ever defeat on the battlefield came when Lieutenant General A.A.K. Niazi, the commander of Pakistani forces, signed the Instrument of Surrender to the Indian Army, which concluded the war.
Following that, during Operation Sindoor, Indian forces effectively destroyed several terror sites, and as Pakistan commenced its aggressive actions, the armed forces retaliated forcefully, resulting in the devastation of multiple airbases, including Nur Khan.
In the meantime, on the field, India defeated Pakistan repeatedly, culminating in a five-wicket victory in the Asia Cup final held in Dubai on Sunday.
During the entire ceremony, Naqvi and the Pakistan players were booed by the Indian fans present at the venue. Kuldeep Yadav, Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Varma received their individual awards from other dignitaries on stage, while Salman accepted the runners-up cheque from PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi. The Indian players did not acknowledge Naqvi.

Simon Doull, the presenter for the host broadcaster towards the end of the ceremony, confirmed that, "I have been informed by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) that the Indian cricket team will not be collecting their awards tonight. So that does conclude the post-match presentation."
