India's fifth and final T20I against England at the Rose Bowl in Southampton got off to an unusual start, with the toss being delayed after the Indian team was caught in traffic on its way to the venue.
Why India vs England Toss Postponed?
The toss was originally scheduled for 6:30 PM IST, but Daily Jagran has learned that heavy traffic delayed Team India's arrival, forcing officials to postpone the toss. By the time this report was filed, the Indian squad had reached the stadium ahead of the match. The updated Toss time is 7.15 PM IST, and the game will start at 7.30 PM IST.
The delay comes on the day India look to avoid a winless tour. Shreyas Iyer's side has already conceded the series, with England taking an unassailable 3-0 lead after winning the fourth T20I. The opening match of the five-game series was washed out because of rain.

Iyer looking for first T20I win
Iyer, who succeeded Suryakumar Yadav as India's T20I captain following the team's T20 World Cup triumph, is still searching for his first victory in charge. Before the England tour, India also endured a historic T20I series defeat against Ireland, making it a difficult start to his tenure as captain.
The ongoing series has also produced an unwanted milestone for India. It marks the first time the team has lost a bilateral T20I series against England since the format was introduced.
