New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: Despite failing with the bat, Sanju Samson on Sunday showed his agility in the field by saving a certain boundary in the fifth T20I held at Mount Maunganui. The youngster dived full stretch to take a catch while the ball travelled the boundary ropes in the air. Samson, however, pulled it back before touching the ground and showed a brilliant display of his presence of mind.

Despite Samson's heroics in the field, his position in the T20I squad for upcoming series remains a concern. The 25-year-old failed to live upto expectations in his first three appearances for the Men in Blues. His scores read 6,6, and 2. Rohit Sharma played at No.3 in the absence of Virat Kohli to give Samson another opportunity to prove himself at the top of the order but, he failed to make full use of the opportunity.
