IND-W vs AUS-W, 3rd ODI: India women are locking horns with Australia women for the third and the last ODI on Wednesday as Arundhati Reddy gave the Women in Blue the much-needed breakthrough by dismissing Australia's in-form batter Georgia Voll with a peachy delivery. Georgia Voll's performance in the ongoing three-match ODI series has become a reason to worry for the visitors.

During the series opener, she scored a match-winning knock of 46 runs and helped her team win the match. But, it was during the second ODI, that she announced her arrival in style by scoring a brilliant unbeaten hundred off 84 balls. During the 3rd ODI as well, she began her knock aggressively and was looking in sublime form but then Arundhati Reddy dismissed her after scoring 26 runs.

The incident happened during the 11th over, Reddy bowled a brilliant inswinger as the ball went around off. Voll tried to smash it down the ground but the ball had touched the inside edge of the bat and had hit the leg stump. Reddy was ecstatic as she gave the team the much-needed breakthrough. She also ended the 58-run partnership between Phoebe Litchfield and Georgia Voll.

Arundhati Reddy shines with a 4-wicket haul against Australia

India had won the toss and chose to bowl first in the third and the last ODI. Although the visitors once again had a jittery start, it was Arundhati Reddy, who helped them bounce back by dismissing both the Australian openers in one over and the other Indian bowlers also took wickets at regular intervals.

Reddy also dismissed batters Ellyse Perry and Beth Mooney and thus took her four-fer. Speaking of the match, the hosts are currently tottering at 96/4, where Ashleigh Gardner and Annabelle Sutherland are there at the crease.
