IPL 2026: With the Indian Premier League (IPL) mini auction looming large, the trade rumours are running rampant, and the talk about wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson and bowling all-rounder Washington Sundar are at the epicentre of speculation, with five-time champions Chennai Super Kings reportedly keeping these two players on their radar.
In a video, CEO Kasi Viswanathan and mascot Leo playfully sought to quell the whispers, giving a tongue-in-cheek reply.

“Trade rumours are subject to mental health risks. Wait till the official announcement for sanity," CSK gave a tongue-in-cheek message in a video.
Meanwhile, the legendary wicketkeeper-batter MS Dhoni is gearing up for another IPL stint with Chennai Super Kings, having been retained as an uncapped player.
The 44-year-old is set to don the Super Kings colours once again in 2026. Last year, he took the reins of captaincy midway after captain Ruturaj Gaikwad was injured midway through the previous season.
