LSG vs PBKS IPL 2026: Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer helped the team defeat Lucknow Super Giants by seven wickets at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Saturday. Shreyas had smashed his maiden IPL hundred off 51 balls. With this win, they remain alive in the playoff race. 

The Punjab-based franchise had put up a brilliant bowling performance and had skittled the host out for 196 runs and then chased the target quiet easily as Iyer (101 not out off 51 balls) and Prabsimran (69 off 39) had kept the team's hopes alive in the race to the playoffs. 

The Shreyas Iyer-led side chased the target in 18 overs as they had scored 200 runs.

LSG opener Josh Inglis had scored a gritty knock of 72 runs off 44 balls, where he had smashed nine fours and two sixes whereas Ayush Badoni scored 43 runs off 18 balls during the middle overs and helped the host post a respectable target of 196 runs. 

Abdul Samad too scored a gritty knock of 37 runs off 20 balls. 

Yuzvendra Chahal (2/25) and Marco Jansen (2/33) were the pick among the PBKS bowlers.
