IND vs PAK Final, ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2025: Pakistan won their maiden U19 Asia Cup title as they defeated India by a huge margin of 191 runs in the final in Dubai on Sunday. They produced a memorable effort and outclassed the Men in Blue in all departments.

Having posted a mammoth score of 347-8 after being put into bat first on the back of a 172-run knock by Sameer Minhas, Pakistan bowled out India for 156 to pick up a monumental win. Following the tremendous victory, they celebrated the occasion with a dance on the viral “FA9LA” song from the movie Dhurandhar, the video of which has gone viral on social media.

The Pakistan U19 players were seen copying the famous hook step of the song, which became incredibly popular after Akshaye Khanna's impressive on-screen performance in the movie.

After a massive cricketing success against India towards the end of the year, there was huge enthusiasm witnessed among fans in Pakistan. The U19 team got a magnificent reception in Islamabad as fans turned out in huge numbers to welcome the title-winning heroes. After a series of embarrassments to India over the years, the win came as a relief for Pakistan. Earlier this year, they suffered three defeats against India in the Asia Cup 2025, including in the final.

Pakistan also took revenge on India for their group stage defeat against India in the U19 Asia Cup 2025.

Apart from the players, veteran Pakistani cricketer Sarfaraz Ahmed also got massive praise from the fans as well as the experts for his guidance to the U19 team during the major tournament. He was the team's mentor during the U19 Asia Cup 2025. Sarfaraz has experienced the taste of beating India from so close. He was the captain when Pakistan beat India in the U19 World Cup in 2004. He also led the team to a famous win during the ICC Champions Trophy in 2017, and again in this year's U19 Asia Cup.

There have been speculations around now that the former skipper Sarfaraz should be appointed as the mentor for the senior Pakistan team for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026.

The senior team has witnessed horrible performances in the ICC events over the past couple of years. They haven't won against India in any major event since the 2021 T20 World Cup. The arch-rivals will face off once again on February 15 in Colombo, and Pakistan would like to turn the tables in the rivalry.
